Early in 2003 Norse Merchant Ferries’ parent company, Cenargo, filed for Chapter 11 protection from creditors in the US and subsequently, Norse Merchant Ferries was placed in administration in the UK. The company traded successfully in 2002 and, despite these difficulties, continues to do so in 2003.
