Belfast Harbour is Northern Ireland's principal passenger ferry port. During 2012, the port's three ferry terminals operated by Stena Line and The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company saw over 1.3 million passengers using the port facilities.
In addition to passengers, ferry services at Belfast Harbour handle in excess of 430,000 freight vehicles each year.
In recent years Belfast Harbour has invested in excess of £37m in providing new and upgraded RoRo facilities and this investment has been complimented by significant investment in modern ships made by all three ferry operators. As a result, Belfast Harbour offers tourist trades and industry, an excellent range of ferry services on the Irish Sea, linking Belfast with Scotland, NW England and the Isle of Man.
