The Community Impact Fund is a strategic investment programme developed by Belfast Harbour to support projects that deliver meaningful, measurable, and long-term social impact across the Greater Belfast area.
At its heart, the Fund is about partnership. We want to work with high-performing organisations that share our ambition to create positive, lasting change—supporting communities to grow stronger, be more resilient, and better connected.
Purpose of the Fund
The Community Impact Fund is designed to create real and lasting social value by:
- Supporting projects that make a clear and measurable difference
- Building strong, trusted relationships within and across communities
- Encouraging innovative, long-term solutions to local challenges
- Aligning investment with key priorities and the needs of people and places
Through this approach, we aim to make a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing and future of communities across Greater Belfast.
Funding Available
In 2027, up to £200,000 is available through the Community Impact Fund to support impactful community projects.
- Four grants of up to £50,000 are awarded each year
- Funding is available for projects running for up to three years
- Continued support is subject to annual review, based on progress and impact
