There’s plenty to explore along the Maritime Mile, from the historic giants dominating the city skyline and public art dotted along the waterfront, to our world-famous attractions, top notch eateries and first-class accommodation. Not forgetting lots of beautiful waterfront viewpoints – perfect for walking, cycling or running!

Start your maritime experience at Clarendon Docks and Sailortown, discovering St Joseph’s Church, Belfast Harbour Commissioners’ Offices and Sinclair Seamen’s Church. Walk past the Big Fish and across the Lagan Weir Footbridge to Titanic Quarter, passing some of the city’s greatest attractions such as the Belfast Buoys, SS Nomadic, Titanic Belfast, the Great Light and the Thompson Dock.

As you clock up 10,000 heritage steps, you will walk in the footprints of the former H&W shipyard workers on the Titanic Slipways. Or rediscover the most iconic moments from Game of Throne on the Glass of Thrones Walking Trail, that starts at AC Hotel Belfast and finishing at HMS Caroline.
