Community Awards
As Belfast Harbour continues to play a vital role within communities here in Belfast, and the surrounding areas, we want to help the organisations and charities which make a positive impact in their own communities.
Organised twice annually, the Community Awards are part of Belfast Harbour’s ongoing commitment to advance prosperity and create vibrant places and communities by supporting the work of grassroots and charitable organisations across Northern Ireland.

“The Belfast Harbour Community Awards provided funding towards a new safety boat and essential maintenance work to be carried out on our wheelchair accessible boat Sea Rover. This enabled us to host 17 group visits involving 122 participants as well as our family-focussed weekly open sessions.

COMING SOON – OUR NEW ‘HARBOURING CONNECTIONS’ COMMUNITY AWARD!
Announced at our recent Harbouring Connections networking event, the Harbouring Connections Community Awards will be given to projects in which two or more grassroots, community embedded, not-for-profit organisations with a charity number or a governing body affiliation, work together on the creation and delivery of the project or enhance their organisational resilience.
The Harbouring Connections Community Awards Fund will provide two grants of up to £5,000 each (maximum (£10,000 total).
