Clarendon Policing Team

Clarendon in Belfast Harbour is a waterfront area comprising of ‘Grade A’ office space, a 4 star hotel, residential apartments and is home to the historic Belfast Harbour Commissioners Office.  The Clarendon Policing team is led by Sergeant Ricky Ellis and their role is to ensure that all who work, live and socialise in this area can do so safely and with peace of mind.  The team is committed to engaging and working collaboratively with stakeholders, tenants and residents to address any issues through preventative practices and integrated working with both public and private partners, continually improve our service delivery.  By providing a highly visible police presence, the team has a clear and concise focus on crime prevention, detection and water safety to eliminate antisocial behaviour, improve road safety and plan and manage large scale events.

Holywood Exchange Policing Team

The Belfast Harbour Police Holywood Exchange Sector Policing Team patrol area begins at the Dee Street roundabout and extends to Holywood Exchange and includes the George Best Belfast City Airport.

The Sector is home to a variety of different businesses with the principal commercial area being Holywood Exchange which is made up of150,000 sq. ft. and is made up of a busy retail  space and separate restaurant block extending to 10,000 sq. ft. The area also benefits from approximately 700 car parking spaces.
The Holywood Exchange Policing Team’s primary role is to provide a safe, secure and crime free sector for people using the retail outlets or travelling through the area.  The Team achieves this through effective community engagement, targeted foot and mobile patrols and various road safety initiatives. To prevent crime and the fear of crime within the business community the Team assists with retail crime prevention initiatives and provides education and training as requested.

By listening to the community and providing an effective integrating community policing response the Sector Police team has been able to increase confidence and trust in the Police while implementing a co-operative problem solving approach that works for all concerned.

Titanic Quarter Policing Team

Titanic Quarter in the Belfast Harbour Estate is  one of Europe’s largest waterfront regeneration areas, and is home to historic maritime landmarks, such as S.S Nomadic, a film studio, educational and leisure facilities, apartments, hotels, centre Science Park and the Titanic Exhibition Centre.  The Titanic Quarter Policing team is led by Sergeant Rosie Watson and their role is to create a safe and secure environment for all those who work, live and socialise in the area.  The Team is committed to engagement and working collaboratively with stakeholders and residents to address any issues through preventative activity and integrated working with both public and private partners to continually improve service delivery.  By providing a highly visible police presence the team has a clear focus on crime prevention and detection, water safety, antisocial behaviour, road safety and event planning.
