Draft Masterplan 2025-50

A vision for the future

Our Draft Masterplan 2025-50 sets out a bold 25-year framework for Belfast Harbour’s future, covering 2,000 acres of land and 1,000 acres of water. It focuses on developing this space to create an even more successful port and estate. We can sustain our role as a port that enables trade, tourism, clean growth and innovation. We can also shape new places to work, live and invest in.

For the past year and a half, we have been consulting with port users, estate tenants, independent industry experts, and statutory bodies to prepare this draft. Now we are asking our stakeholders, along with the wider public, to share their views on how we can further shape this for the benefit of generations to come. As well as an online feedback form, we will be holding a series of in-person events in November/December, and an ongoing display at Harbour Office.

All of the feedback we receive will be used to guide and improve the final version of our Masterplan 2025-50, due to launch in May 2026.
