Belfast Harbour Calls for Companies to Enter the 2019 Responsible Business Awards in Northern Ireland

Companies encouraged to enter annual awards.

Belfast Harbour are delighted to sponsor the Employability and Jobs Award once again at this year’s Responsible Business Awards, established by Business in the Community. The annual awards are closely linked with our Corporate Responsibility pillars and allow Belfast Harbour to give gratitude to other businesses recognising the importance of a strong workforce.

Belfast Harbour’s Chief Executive, Joe O’Neill says:

“At Belfast Harbour we are specifically encouraging companies to enter the Employability & Jobs Award category – an award for the organisation that best removes barriers to work and helps people thrive in meaningful employment.”

Belfast Harbour has a long standing commitment to supporting access to work through its wide ranging Corporate Responsibility programme through initiatives in partnership with The Prince’s Trust, StemAware and Queen’s University.

Applications to the awards can be made online at www.bitcni.org.uk/awards. Entries will close on Friday 22 February 2019 at 5:00 pm, and the winners will be revealed at a glittering gala dinner at Belfast Waterfront Hall on Thursday 30 May 2019.
