It was with great sadness that Belfast Harbour received the news of the loss of our friend and esteemed colleague, Captain Michael Evans, in the air crash at Cork Airport on Thursday 10th February.

Michael's colleagues and friends across the organisation extend their heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Michael's wife and family during this very difficult time.

During his 9 years service with Belfast Harbour, Michael had built friendships with his colleagues and members of the Port Community and was held in high regard for his work and personal qualities.

Belfast Harbour has made available a book of condolences within the reception area of the Harbour Office to enable visitors and friends to mark Michael's life with reflections and thoughts.
